The Slavery Wage of Sin Is Death

In verses six and 15, you're either a slave and the slave's wage is death. But if you have been placed in christ by s grace, then the free gift is inheritance of eternal life. So i think it's importantto see this functioning in the economic terms that paul is building out for us here. In his time, the idea of bond servant, they were receiving a wage,. even if it was merely room and board, for a kind of under resource, under privileged group of people. That was different than the way chattel slavery functioned in the annabelum south.
