The Importance of Reaching Out

A friar was telling me about a Christmas card he received from, from a person he was very close to. The first half of the Christmas card was an elaborate apology for not having been in touch and it incorporated several just really painful self-deprecating jokes. And so if you're distant from someone, the best way to start out and renewing that relationship is by beginning to reach out.
