Having a Tensile Strength to Weight Ratio Is Consistent With the Laws of Physics

There is a maximum possible tensile strength to weight ratio of any rope that's consistent with the known laws of physics. The strings made famous by string theory are in fact as strong as any possible rope can be, they saturate this bound. And so what does that mean? One, that means if you want to use strings or something with the same tensile weight, strength the weight ratio as a string, which kind of makes it a strength.
