I don't think any of the current solutions, I don't believe in loan forgiveness on a mass scale for exactly the reason you said Felix. It's massively regressive. Even income-based repayment is kind of problematic in many ways. The bigger problem is the returns to college education are really high and we want more people to get those returns and borrowing enables that.
