The Importance of Dieting Restrictive Eating

Dieting, restrictive eating has a very significant effect on both our biology and our psychology. One issue is that we unlearn our ability to know when we've had enough food. We end up spending a tremendous amount of time focused on food. With restrained eating over time, the body begins to identify something's wrong. And so we end up decreasing our metabolism,. Food becomes more palatable, we lose some of our ability to detect satiety signals.
