The Diamond Age by Neil Stevenson

Diamond Age by Neil Stevenson is a good entry book into cyberpunk. It's got heavy technology use, full on cyberpunk use, but there's also this neo-victorian era. William Gibson is often lauded as one of the great writers. If you want to see it in cinema, you can watch Blade Runner. And I originally assumed that cyberpunk meant cyberspace.
