How to Maintain Backwards Compatibility With APIs

Facebook has introduced a whole new API that we encourage everyone to move to. It's not technically breaking, but in practice, everybody ends up rewriting their code. Libraries move on to these new APIs and don't update their old ones. So they kind of had three main reasons that they wanted to change or they went into empower function components. One was reuse, reusing logic. The other ones were that components were getting really big because of how like life cycle methods where exposed.
