There had been several hundred thousand doses of vaccines distributed and allicated to states for use. The date given by the secretary of h h s haverbasera sounds like it's going to be mid 20 23. Among the highest risk folks here right the people who should be getting monkey pox vaccines are sexually active men, who have sex with men.

Gay men, queer people, and their partners represent an overwhelming majority of monkeypox cases. But even though the WHO just declared the disease a global health emergency, resources like vaccines, testing, and treatment remain largely out of reach. Health reporter Keren Landman and virologist Joseph Osmundson explain.
