The Importance of Awareness in the Pacific
I learned about Standing Rock actually from a chief in BC's wife. That's where I learned about, so she was ready to take camping equipment. This was very early, early days before I learned about it on social media. It was from her and she had also been really involved with Alcatraz. To me, that's the way a lot of us think as being indigenous people across Turtle Island or across like Indian country doesn't have borders in the same sense.
