The Differential Between Inflammatory and Mechanical Arthritis
Ms. Felty states that she has had progressive pain in her hands and knees over the last year. She gives herself a febrile scale on one to 10, and she says it doesn't seem that activity is affecting her joints. To get a better idea of her overall health, you ask your patient about how they feel in the morning. Is there any validated cutoff? No, nothing that I've ever seen. We'll find out shortly, unless you're soothsayer.
