In clinical epidemiology, what you're looking at our correlations between, did you take the good drug, and did you die. But if all other things aren't held constant, like the oure and randomis experiment, then you can come to the wrong conclusions. And of course, epidemilogists ar not stupid. They understand this, and they try to do the best they can to control for other factors. But you're always left, at least i'm always left a little bit uncertain, maybe a little bit i'm often lookg very sceptical at the end of the day when, as a consumer of the newspaper, i read about these studies.
