This week on When the Facts Change, we dive a bit deeper into the supply and the demand drivers in our housing market. In other parts of the world, when house prices jump from half a million to a million, there's a supply response. But that hasn't happened in New Zealand for the last 30 years. We speak to an economist at Kiwi Bank who measured how much extra demand is going in and how much extra supply is going out. And we spoke to the mayor of Hamilton, Paula Southgate, about what's happening from the council side of things.
