i get the impression that people find comfort in thinking that we're not alone. And they're not really concerned about whether we make contact, but justt idea that we now have an understanding of our place in the universe. We live on earth, where a planet in our solar system. The solar system is one of many planetary systems in our galaxy. Our galaxy is one of billions of galaxies in the universe, as far as we know. I feel like people who are not scientists, but think about these things, they get some sense of comfort of knowing that we have a place. This is our place.
