The Importance of Being a Person on the Upper East Side of Manhattan
"I just could not imagine what their lives were like. Placing her on the Upper East Side of Manhattan was really important because it was, for me, being a person on the Upper West Side felt like almost like a condition," she says. "The way that the streets are laid out is so, I don't know. I mean, I also kind of love it there."
