Is Bernie Sanders a Cool Politician?
The Sanders campaign is using memes to create an image of this cool politician for the younger crowd. It really does provide an entry point, particularly for younger people who may be turned off by or just not responsive to these more kind of complex policy debates. At the same time though, it really touches upon some of the big issues that are taking place because when you are expressing politics through pop culture, it is simplifying, right?
