What's the Difference Between a Fin Keel and a Separate Rudder?
The calforty was the first production fin keel boat. The real gain in technology there was having the rudder as far aft as possible to make it easier to handle the boat, particularly down wind. In terms of technology, i think it's like, i's a race about time travel as much as it is about anything else. Michael: Why did don m impose design rules at all, given that the original sxty eight race seem not to have them? Well, i think that's just because we've evolved.
