A Different Mindset, or a New Mindset?
Carnival is a time set aside to upend all the usual rules of society. I think there's this anthropological concept of carnival, where you can play with the boundaries of culture and reset some things. And so it also creates a, i felt like doing all of these extra curriculars with my co workers created a much flatter organization. It's hard to be really, oh, i'm your manager and you're my subordinate when you're hanging out in this way.
