Live Edit and Compose: A New Way to Improve Debug Performance
Live edits predecessor, which was live literals, made debug builds much slower in certain situations. So newer versions of studio will turn live literals off and give you live edit. And that will make debug performance and compose much more reasonable. The problem is that it turned all bytecode into like every literal was a method call and a switch and a field read and an object or stuff like that.
