What Happened to the People of East Pakistan?

After 1970 elections, majority in Parliament went to Sheikh Wojib's army league. Genyanya essentially lost control after having held a very free and fair elections. He was manipulated by the people around him, including Sir Vikadar Lee Butters. Cyclone Bola hit East Pakistan after the floods in the summer. Many people were killed, lives were lost, the economy was destroyed. And that further alienated the people of East Pakistan. They began saying why do we want autonomy? Why don't we want freedom? This is when some of these demands for independence arose inside East Pakistan.
