The Importance of Empathy

Our capacity for empathy with anything, whether it's a squirrel or another human being, i think is much less than it was in those days. We're the same and we have the same ways of mental processing, though some of our ways have been dulled by what's happened to us over the many millennia separating us from ou palodithic people. But these capacities for empathy can be, and must urgently be renewed. If i can work sympathizing with them, i will increase the bulk of my empathy muscles. It's worth working at. And these sorts of ar thought experiments, ar anthropological method acting experiments, than engaged in this book, may help us to do that
