The El Tannen Antenna

On August 29, 1964, the crew took sample cores and photographed the seabed west of Cape Horn. This is the image of the so-called El Tannen antenna. It looks like a pole jutting up from the seafloor straight up. And then it has radial poles that extend out from the central pole at 90 degree angles.
