i spent about a decade or so of practice in architecture and urban design. And one of the things that i realize is that i was increasingly interested in the contexts in which the buildings were in. So largely, poor people in the global south are least responsible for the problems we face,. They will be impacted most by things like stronger storm sea level rise, a heat island impact, urban heat island impacts  and things like that.
