i agree with the more general point about algrdoms and the various commercial interests sort of directing human behaviour, whether it's search behaviour or twitter behavior. But i'm a little bit more sympathetic to the algorithm than laner is chris right? Because i remember in the early days of the internet, there was a whole industry in things like surching and optimization, hallo jeeves, or as jeves asked jeeves. And so when you talk to people who do this stuff at giglar facebook, they'll say, well, it just means we need to make or algritms better.
