The Lord Who Made Heaven and Earth, a Song of Assents of David
In the psalm of assent, David says if it had not been for you, then we would have died in our affliction. The prophet amos is preaching to all the nations, but here he is speaking specifically to israelite,. And in this what he's saying is hes saying, what's going to happen ultimately is you're gong to have destruction. You' Going t have captivity. And that's exactly what happens, right? In chapter eight there are some of the ways in which the people were dealing deceitfully, not only with each other, but even with god.
