Is There Respite?

I think that the key to capitalism's psychic hold over us, its power over us, is lies in debt. And it was just such an albatross for me. It doesn't feel like respite. It feels horrible when you have creditors calling you or you know, you're, you've killed yourself by not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. But I still think that there's something to debt because it's so ubiquitous within the capitalist economy and within capitalist society. That's not just an ideological lie.
