The Conscience and the Intellect in Morality of Ethics
We need to avoid a bad mistake that people are prone to. The cartoon with the little jimminy cricket sitting on the shoulder, functioning as the conscience. That's imagining that the conscience is something other than our judgment. We mustn't divide conscience from intellect. If the natural law account of these things is correct, there is no separate thing known as the conscience apart from the intellect.
