The Refusal to Wear a Wedding Garment
Elder Bednar spoke on this parable in the October 22 general conference. He quotes a Christian author who says, the refusal to wear the wedding garment exemplified blatant disrespect for both the king and his son. The man desired the honor of attending the feast, but did not want to follow the custom of the king. His lack of proper dress revealed his inner rebellion against theKing and his instructions.
