Dark matter is a particle side of the spectrum and a very heavy particle. Two possible instruments you've got the Einstein telescope which will have 10 kilometer long Arms and then there's the cosmic explorer which would have 40 kilometer long arms And so probably both of those instruments will come online in the 2030s. They're looking for called ultra heavy dark matter So check out this interview with Dr Keir Rogers we're talking about axion's as well as how you can constrain the properties of dark matter to figure out what it isn't.
