Bone Marrow Transplants - What Is GVHD?

The most common source of bone marrow for transplant today is actually not taken directly from the bones. There's a process called peripheral aphorosis where the stem cells are mobilized using a drug to enter the peripheral blood and then those cells can be aphorised out. And so our process uses true bone marrow, even getting the same GVHD rates as traditional bone marrow transplants would be a significant improvement for patient outcomes.
