The Fourth Commandment to Honor One's Father and Mother

In chapter three, we have duties towards parents and others. There is something so powerful about being reminded of the duty we owe to honoring our parents. In fact, the fourth commandment to honor one's father and mother is the only commandment that comes with a blessing that long life maybe yours. So we're going to be journeying again for maybe the next 30 days or so in Maccabees and Sirak - these books about the Maccabealan revolt. Then we'll launch into the New Testament. But today we're day 282 and we're just beginning this new phase before our last phase. It's the penultimate time period before we get to the end
