PG&E's Bankruptcy - What's the Problem?
The CPUC head says the agency is going to create new laws allowing utilities to pass fire costs on the customers. PG&E fired CEO Gisha Williams and began filing for bankruptcy January 14th. Bankruptcy meant wildfire victims making claims would become unsecured creditors and not be paid in full. The judge overseeing PG&E's probation said it had clearly been violated.
