Is the Celestial Woman Representing Isis?

The word is living and active partially because there are so many good, fresh perspectives, people with the spirit within them, bringing good stuff to the text. So I'm going to argue, very specifically, that this woman is representing Isis. She flees into the wilderness after the birth of her son. The Protestants, of course, aren't excited about that. They follow the church father, Hippolytus. He says it's actually the church. And the kid is the martyrs, right, because they're being pursued by Satan.
