An important part of your book is about displaying empathy. It's essential theme in negotiating skills. As a hostage to the ocean, I'm like, how am I supposed to have empathy with somebody from Mount Kydin? That's just not going to happen or sympathy. And that's the hard part because if you're going to display empathy, display it, make the other side feel understood.
