Serena's Story

Serena Williams beat Tom anovitch in three sets at the U.S. Open on Sunday. She thanked her father and mother, who brought up both of them to be champions. But she also told a story about how they got their start as tennis players. Serena's dad didn't believe his younger sister was developed enough to play in a tournament so he let her tag along withVenus when she was eight years old. When venus started playing tournaments aged nine, serena signed up by herself without paying for entry fee.
