The Importance of Being Loyal

Someone who says I like you too much to be with you is going to hurt you. It's their way of placating you and flattering your ego at the same time as rejecting you. There may be things that I think are wonderful about you, but I'm not in any kind of space where I'm ready to give anything meaningful based on that. And maybe I can't trust myself in that situation. Maybe I don't back myself to be loyal or faithful because I just am not ready.
