The Embodied Approach to Emotions
Part of it is just how we decide to define emotions which I think are currently not completely defined, right? The definition from the Western Psychological Point of View is that it is a dynamic process that includes both physiological and psychological changes. Indeed, there are emotion-laden cognitions. So we have an emotion episode such as your partner moves out and leaves, right? This happens. Just theoretically. There's a way in which the emotion, the loss, can generate a lot of thoughts and ideas. And they're kind of coming from the emotion itself. Yeah, so the feelings trigger cognitions, right?
