The way that labour describes the conservatives, the way that labor focuses on mistakes that were made, doesn't necessarily cut through. So what did the public make of boris johnson's leadership during that time? Well, it changed, of course, a and i think the fundamental attitude was, there was undoubtedly a rally to the flag in all moments of national crisis. But the public attitude, even among those people who didn't vote for him, is, he's not the prime minister. It is not necessarily the prime minister that we chose, but he's the primemister that we've got.
