Does That Make Me a Bad Catholic?

There have been attempts by young er supporters to interpret that paragraph of the catechism in a way that would still allow these days to be 24 hour days, even though it uses the word symbolic here. I don't it ultimately works for a variety of reasons that we'll talk about more in the day age episode, or in the days of creation episode that we'll be doing in the future. But i would say that what we have in the catechesis is a this is the first time that the magisterium articulated itself on this question in this way,. And consequently, it has a lower level of authority than other teachings.
