The Supreme Court overturned the federal right to an abortion that was originally established in Roe v. 8 in the 1970s. Now states can basically come up with how they want to adjudicate abortion in their individual states, whether it's banned outright or not. Gallup found last month that a record high, 69% of Americans said abortion should generally be legal in the first trimester of a pregnancy.
