The Future of Software Synths
I remember when we initially started working on all that stuff. It's funny to think that a software synth is defining a style of music or genre of music, much like the TV3 did for acid and acid house. A lot of my early favorite records were done with the 303 808 909 606. The sound of analog just has something to it that is organic. Even if you're making, I've made all kinds of different sounds with analog equipment. At the end of the day, your ears tend to favor the sound of analog. Most people prefer analog recordings, whether they were made with analog synthesizers or analog tape.
