The Effects of the Pandemic on Australian Builders

House prices nationally rose by another 0.7% of 1% in July, which is the fifth consecutive monthly price increase after the bottoming of the market back in February. National Housing Value Index is now up 4.1% after a 9.1% decline from the record high that we saw in April of 2022. CoreLogic released their home value index release by CoreLogic and what did we learn in the July data? Well we're definitely seeing regional markets slowing their pace of growth since the pandemic came through to the regions. We're also seeing some people moving back into elastic band areas such as Sydney or Melbourne because they feel there's more demand for housing than supply.
