Sir Gawaine and the Green Knight by Simon Armitage
i'm not sure how many verses i'll read, because it's just lovely. I love reading this poem. This is very rich in terms of language. Look out for the alliteration. That's the repetition of rhyming consonant sounds at the start of words k and the bob and wheel. The rhythmic device at my dad talked about, which ends each verse with two syllable s and then four lines afterwards. And it does have quite a nice effect, a rhythmic effect, on the story.
