Shaw: Why is it the case that bad norms end up getting out competed by groups that do not? He asks, even if we have a bad norm persists for a while, shouldn't this all be like, self-limiting or liket? Shaw: This can happen. It can happen that group that has certain, historically, developed certain type of norms because they were really constrained in their environment. And some norms that have stayed there forever may disappear relatively quickly here. We live in a changing world and our world is particularly quickly changing, you know.
