Cities are increasingly oriented towards attracting higher income residents, right? Kind of creating an attractive urban environment. There's a kind of an intersection with the interest in attracting high tech or creative types of jobs. Chicago Mayor Raman Manuel has said that you can't be for a high tech, a creative city economy and not be pro bike.
