Stoicism is a philosophy that says there's no chance of success, but you should go for it anyway. John Sutter: I can totally see how someone practicing stoicism might say,.01% chance, I'm going to focus my efforts on something I can control and give up the opportunity to make that change. But what difference could those 10,000 have made putting their energy somewhere else? They could have made a huge difference in a different arena. So yeah, I do see that and understand that.
