Dan Brown is an information architect and principal at the User Experience Consultancy, 8 Shapes. Dan has written two books that deal with communications and collaboration on design teams. In his most recent book, Practical Design Discovery, he deals with the very first face of a project in which the product team seeks to understand the design problem. We learn about dealing with big hard questions at the beginning of the discovery face so we can make good design decisions later.
