Is There a Parkinson's Disease?
Kiar: You really have to have a high index of suspicion and a low threshold for testing in these patients. I think I normally wouldn't need an MRI to make sure my Parkinson's diagnosis is correct. He also has chronic kidney disease which by itself if the creatinines above his baseline there could be some myoclonus due to whatever bad humors are not being filtered by the kidneys so that's a possibility. Kiar, what would you be looking for on the exam in this particular patient?
