The Effect of Social Exclusion on the Left Inferior Frontal Gyro of the Brain
When people are processing their sacred values, there's an area of the brain called left inferior frontal gyrus that activates. And when they reported their willingness to fight and die for their non-secret values, you just sort of approach sacred value levels. So the social exclusion, this tiny little experiment showed us these people are becoming more devoted actors. More values are moving from the non-secret column into the sacred column. That's a worrying move.
