How to Find Points of Agreement in Arguments

In every single argument that I interact with I try to find something that I'm like, oh here's, here's something that I agree with with this argument. You can do that without buying into the entire argument that you feel is wrong or you're trying to disagree with this. We are all tribalistic we are all groupish people we have communities that we belong to that shape our beliefs whether we like to admit it or not. If you were to actually convince somebody that your viewpoint is more correct than theirs, what would that do to their community? This goes to both sides of this theological disagreement and by the way I all these points that I'm talking about this would equally apply to
