John Knox's Early Life
John Knox's early life is something that is a little bit of a mystery. He excelled in school and did very well he preferred reading old books from the early church. It's around 1546 that we see him kind of spring on to the scene. John Knox was taught by different teachers about the new Protestant movement at some point. And then this church which is apparently kind of this whole town actually is Because they're going a different Protestant direction than the king of Scotland once he basically says hey France Can you take care of this town for me France sends an army over captures them and keeps John Knox on a boat for basically two years these people were forced on to the boat at the request
